Tata Motors launched a rich model, Tata Sumo Grande MKII LX after giving it sportier, stylish and attractive look with classic interiors and exteriors to this MUV (Multi Utility Vehicle) with seating capacity of 7 – 9. Tata Sumo Grande MKII LX comes with a powerful 2.2L 118bhp DOHC, 16 Valves DiCOR (Direct Injection Common Rail) engine w/ VGT in Line Diesel Engine that can dispel 2,179cc and generates a maximum power of 118.5bhp at 4000rpm and maximum torque is 250Nm at 1500-3000rpm. This engine generates good fuel mileage at around 10kmpl on city roads while on highway it reaches up to 13.6kmpl while it has the capacity to cross 0-100km in just 17.6seconds. It comes with 5 Speed, G – 76, 4.1 – Synchromesh with Overdrive manual transmission (5 Speed Gear Manual Transmission). This MUV is turbocharged and has Fuel Supply System ofCRDI. It has large fuel tank capacity of 65 litres and contributes less pollution to environment by following Bharat Stage III Emission Norm Compliance. Tata Sumo Grande MKII LX has Tumbling Type and Removable 3rd row Seats and Side facing Foldable Seats with 12V Power Point for Front and Middle Rows and seats are with seatbelts.  3rd row seats are supported by grab handle which are flexible. This powerful car comes with Front Brake Type of Ventilated Disc Brakes at front and at rear with Drum Brakes. This can be handled with very less efforts and controls for safety with Power Steering which is Tilt and Collapsible with Turning Radius at 5.25mm. Side Impact Beams and Front Impact Beams provide it extra security and handling becomes easier. The suspension technology of Tata Sumo Grande MKII LX designed to feel comfort while driving, so overall handling of the car is effortless. It is fitted with Front Suspension of Independent, wishbone with coil springs and Rear Suspension with Parabolic leaf springs. Side impact bars with door for side impact protection, anti key tap lock system that gets activated or locks the door when car is in no motion.
