Mahindra and Mahindra is expected to bring in their much loved 2012 Mahindra Mini Xylo MPV into the Indian car market during the festive season of Diwali this year. Being said about the launch, M&M is busy testing the MPV these days and one could spot it on the Indian roads every now and then. This time around, the new Mahindra Mini Xylo MPV was seen with a new front grille design. Speculations were rife that M&M is working on redoing the engine of the MPV to cut down harshness, vibration and noise level, but that being apart, the new grille design caught our eye. Leaving the rumors and speculations behind, the 2012 Mahindra Mini Xylo MPV signifies a brand new and fresh segment in the Indian car bazaar by being one of its kinds.

The new Mahindra Mini Xylo is a basically the shortened variant of Mahindra Xylo MPV and would come up with a length of under four meters. This length will provide the firm with extra benefit on the excise duty offered by the government on small cars. Therefore, one could expect a very competitive price tag of Rs. 5 lakh on Mahindra Mini Xylo. Apart from above mentioned changes, 2012 Mahindra Mini Xylo might come powered with 1.5 litre of three cylinder turbo diesel motor, which is expected to be the cut down version of 2.2 litre of mEagle turbo diesel motor that is seen in Mahindra Xylo. Also there is a possibility that M&M might introduce 2012 Mahindra Mini Xylo in 1.2 litre petrol engine variant too, but this has to be confirmed yet. This MPV will be available in seven and five seater models, which sounds as the best choice for the families.
