Enough of the sneak pic of the 2013 Fiat Linea, you can now get the 180 degree view of the model now as the official images of the new Linea have hit the interweb. Only last month, a highly camouflaged version of the car was snapped; the 2013 Fiat Linea is being manufactured at the Fiat’s assembly in Turkey. The 2013 Fiat Linea comes with significant updates in terms of design apparent from the images. The car is adorned with massive headlamps, chrome front grille and more chrome element on the front bumper; the chrome detailing does not end on the front fascia, rather it has on the rear end too in the bumper and the boot lid.
All this chrome bejeweling seems like Fiat has taken cues from India audience as they have a sweet tooth for chrome outlines. The 1.3L Multijet engine doing duty in the current version is also going to tweaked to give better fuel economy and low CO2 emissions. Fiat is also going to extend the powertrain portfolio of new Linea with the introduction of top class 1.4 Multijet engine. This latest power unit is found under the hood of Alfa Romeo MiTo and it can churn out total output of 168 horsepower.
However, India will have to wait for this all New Fiat Linea as the company had unveiled the 2012 Fiat Linea in India on the eve of 2012 Auto Expo in New Delhi this January. In the interim, the refreshed version of Fiat Linea will hit the shores of developing markets of Russia and South America where the market share of the brand is on zenith as compared to India where it is still struggling to find its place.
