Japanese carmaker Suzuki has now launched the 2013 Splash (known as Ritz in India) in Indonesia at an introductory price of Rs 151 million Indonesian Rupiah (equal to Rs 8.3 lakh). The car has also been offered with an automatic transmission gearbox, which was launched in India in September, last year. Suzuki also launched the Ertiga AT in Indonesia last week.
Receiving some changes both in the exterior and interior, the car now looks similar to that of the global version, which is also sold in India. The changes include a slightly updated front grille, electrically adjustable mirrors, headlamps with multiple reflectors, and the VVT badge on the fender. While inside the cabin, the 2013 Splash now receives ABS+EBD and integrated audio system. However, airbags are missing.
There are no mechanical changes as well, the 2013 Splash continues to derive its power from the same 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, K-Series engine, which churns out the maximum power output of 84bhp and 113NM of peak torque.
The car has been made available in six different colours- superior white, pearl black, Mystique red, metallic bakers chocolate, breeze blue metallic and metallic silky silver.
