The Hyundai Verna facelift has been spied in China, though camouflaged but does reveals quite a few cosmetic changes. The upgraded model is spotted way before its unveiling scheduled for the Beijing Auto Show in April'14.
The Verna facelift receives an all-new bonnet design, newly designed headlamps, fog lamps, and restyled front and rear bumpers. The front also imposes an all-new grille, while the creases over the body especially on the bonnet are unique and gives an edgier look to the sedan. The headlamps size has increased to a bit though the tail lamps retains the similar shape. To the side profile, the sedan sports new diamond cut alloy wheels, thus, the sedan has come out well in terms of design.
Mechanically, the vehicle has been kept same by the company. The direct competition to Verna is from VW Vento and Ford Fiesta. However, this time around it is expected the company puts in effort to rate the sedan high when it comes to the handling aspect. Also with the launch of all-new Honda City in India, the competition has grown more fierce; so Hyundai is bringing its facelift to sustain the constantly rising challenges.
