All-new 2015 Hyundai Sonata was introduced at New York International Auto Show. The seventh generation model carries a more aggressive appearance with better styling and design upgrades. It showcases a new Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy, stiffer body structure, better ride quality, reduced NVH levels, and is loaded with several advanced safety and comfort features.
More about its design, the 2015 Sonata sports a larger and elegantly design grille with a wider air intake, a coupe-like roofline and a larger window graphic, which kind of provides better outside view to the occupants. To make the rear portion appear more prominent, the sedan boasts horizontal lines along the width of the vehicle.
As far as engine specs are concerned, the US model gets a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine and a 2.0-litre turbo version. Interiors are certainly top-class with a special attention on ergonomics. Hyundai calls its interior design principles based on safety, intuitiveness and simplicity. There are several safety features added that includes electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, traction control, ABS, tire pressure monitoring system, projector headlamps as standard, while HID headlamps are available as an optional feature. We expect the same features for the Indian market as well.
