India's largest four-wheeler manufacturer is planning to launch the 2015 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga's facelifted version on 10 October.
The new Indian model is expected to look the same as the one showcased at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show in August this year. Within acouple of months from its launch 3 years back in 2012, the Ertiga MPV enabled the company to register good volumes.
A report from Zigwheels indicates that Ertiga is going to have some cosmetic updates and additional features. The report also says the booking of the new MPV has begun in many dealerships unofficially; previous reports also suggested that the current Ertiga has already been sold out.
The 2015 Maruti Ertiga sports a bolder three slat chrome laden front grille, chrome around the fog lamps and more chrome at the rear above the number plate. This car also features a new and more aggressive bumper and elements such as redesigned 10-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels, new tail-lamp cluster with new reflector.

Coming to the interior, characteristics like engine start/stop button, new upholstery, electric folding mirrors, keyless entry and SmartPlay infotainment system, rear parking camera, Bluetooth audio, parking sensors, 50:50 split third row seat, rear accessory socket are visual.
The new Ertiga will be available with both petrol and diesel powerplant. The petrol will be the 1.4-litre 95PS/130Nm mill and the diesel will be the 1.3-litre 90PS/200Nm block. The diesel variant will be offered with the SHVS as seen on the Ciaz Hybrid. The SHVS will come with Deceleration Energy Regeneration system that sends wasted energy into an electrical system for storage. The government now offers incentives on cars with any kind of hybrid system manufactured in India so the excise duty on the Maruti Ertiga SHVS will be reduced resulting in lower price of this version.
The Maruti Ertiga Facelift is expected to be priced around Rs 7 to 9 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2015 Maruti Ertiga will be offered in six colour shades that include superior white, silky silver, granite grey, serene blue, pearl blue blaze, and radiant beige.
