Though almost off the market in India if not for the Pajero Sport, Mitsubishi is still doing some brisk business globally. The company has unveiled the 2016 Outlander Sport with a few updates in styling and features. Mitsubishi’s best selling CUV, Outlander Sport now gets a bold exterior thanks to brand’s "Dynamic Shield" front design concept. Other new features include power folding side mirrors with LED turn indicators, wheel lip moldings, auto-dimming rear view mirror with Homelink and a new 18-inch alloy wheel design.
"The Outlander Sport is a brand leader for Mitsubishi Motors, and we are excited to unveil this eye-catching 2016 model-year," said MMNA executive vice president, Don Swearingen. "The Outlander Sport has always been a fun vehicle that delivers on its promise of reliability and value, and the 2016 model year continues to do so with a great new family look that unifies the Mitsubishi CUV lineup."

There are also three new exterior colors: Cool Silver, Diamond White Pearl and Quartz Brown.
There is no word on the engine, but the existing line up of engine is expected to continue, which means you can choose from either a 148 hp 2.0-litre engine or a 2.4-litre one with 168 hp output, with a 5-speed manual or a CVT option.
