2021 Tata Tiago NRG Teased In A New Green Color Ahead Of Launch Next Week

The Tiago NRG is basically a crossover version of the regular model

• The facelifted Tiago NRG has been teased in a new green shade with blacked out roof and outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs).

• It could get different alloy wheels, body cladding and few blacked out elements in line with the pre-facelift model. 

• Could be available with multiple colour options. 

• Will be powered by the same 86PS/113NM 1.2-litre petrol engine, mated to 5-speed manual and AMT transmissions. 

• The facelifted Tiago NRG will demand around Rs 30,000 over the standard model. 

Tata has teased the Tiago NRG ahead of its launch on August 4. The crossover version of the Tiago has been teased in a new green shade with blacked out roof and outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs). 

The 2021 Tiago NRG will basically get changes in line with the standard facelifted model. The pre-facelift NRG got different alloy wheels, body cladding, blacked out grille and different colour shades, which could be carried over to the upcoming version as well. 

The cabin might also see some cosmetic changes including the new upholstery and orange accents that we’ve seen earlier. It will continue to feature a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic AC, steering-mounted audio controls, a digital instrument cluster, keyless entry and height-adjustable driver seat. 

Safety is covered by dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, corner stability control, rear parking sensors and a rear camera. 

The facelifted Tiago NRG will get the same 86PS 1.2-litre petrol engine paired to 5-speed manual and AMT transmissions.

It should demand around Rs 30,000 more than the regular model, which retails from Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 6.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). While the Tiago rivals theDatsun GO, Hyundai Santro, Maruti Suzuki Celerio, and the Wagon R, the NRG will rival the Celerio X.
