Both the Venue and Venue Knight Edition are basically two peas in the same pod but the latter gets five major differences
It is without a doubt that the Hyundai Venue is one of the most handsome-looking sub-4m SUVs in India. However, in a world that is slowly adopting minimalism where less is more, there’s another version of the Venue that stands out – the Venue Knight Edition. This edition features a similar design but gets blacked-out elements and an added feature. If you are confused between the regular Venue or the Venue Knight Edition, here are five things the Knight Edition gets to stand out from the regular Venue:
A Sportier Exterior Styling
We’ll keep things simple here. If you prefer something with flash and bling, the regular Venue is the one you need to consider. However, if you want something that has stealth and looks sinister, then the Venue Knight Edition is the one for you.
The Hyundai Venue features a bold front design with a huge grille having chrome elements, LED projector headlights and 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. In contrast, the Venue Knight Edition has dark chrome elements and a blacked-out Hyundai logo on the grille for that stealth look. In addition to that, the bumper also boasts subtle brass-coloured inserts to give it a contrast.
On the side, both models have 16-inch alloy wheels, but the Knight Edition gets blacked-out rims with a brass-coloured insert. Look closely behind the wheel and you’ll also notice the presence of red brake calipers, which give it a proper sporty look. There’s also a Knight Edition badge on the front fender that lets people know what they are ogling at.
Moving on the rear, both Venues have a connected LED tail light setup and an upright bumper. However, the Venue Knight Edition gets a blacked-out skid plate and brass-coloured inserts on the bumper that resemble those in the front.
Both versions are available in a wide spectrum of colour options, details of which can be found in the table below:

A More Contemporary Interior
The regular Venue has a dual-tone black and grey cabin and seats with a modern dashboard design. You get the same layout in the Venue Knight Edition but with an all-black theme that looks contemporary with contrasting brass-coloured elements on the door handles, AC vents and gear lever.
The seats also echo a classy vibe with black leatherette upholstery with brass accents on the backrest. It also gets 3D mats and if you look closely, metal pedals enhance the sportiness of the cabin.
A Better Feature Suite
The Hyundai Venue is filled to the brim with plenty of feel-good features and the same is available with the Knight Edition. These include premium features like an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, a semi-digital driver’s display, a single-pane sunroof and a wireless phone charger. It also has auto AC with rear vents, an air purifier, four-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and ambient lighting.
However, the Venue Knight Edition goes a step further and packs in a dashcam with a dual-camera setup, offering enhanced safety and peace of mind.
The Venue is not only a feature-rich SUV but also packs in a plethora of safety tech including six airbags (as standard), electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a rear parking camera with parking sensors. It also provides three-point seatbelts for all seats with seatbelt reminders. But this is not the end of the list, the Venue ups the ante by offering an advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite including features such as forward collision warning and driver attention warning. Moreover, this entire safety suite makes its way to the Venue Knight Edition.
Punchy Petrol Engine Options
The Hyundai Venue has three engine options but the Knight Edition focuses on petrol performance and gets two petrol engine options. Detailed specifications of both petrol engines have been mentioned in the table below:
