The 13th edition of the Auto Expo kicks off at a time where the market is lapping up cars by the dozen. With a host of manufacturers, both mass market and luxury participating in the 2016 Auto Expo - the mother of all auto events in the country has a bit of everything for everyone. With the gross exhibition space being a whopping 73000 sq metres, it is easy to miss out on a lot. We bring you the most detailed list of stalls to visit, vehicles to see..and even what to eat. Because, who doesn't like food?
Which gate to enter from?
The best gates to enter the expo are Gate 7 & 8. These gates are a stone's throw away from all the major car brands. If you prefer two wheels over four, pick Gate 2. The bike cluster is barely a 5 minute walk from this entrance.
What stalls should I not miss at any cost?
1. Maruti Suzuki (Hall #7)
The Maruti Suzuki stall has a lot of everyday Maruti cars on display, including the humble Celerio and the Ciaz. The Nexa range is present as well. However, the main reason you should visit the stall is to check the Vitara Brezza out. The new sub-compact SUV from Maruti is on display. The Ignis and the Baleno RS are there as well!

Where do I grab a bite?
There are a total of 8 Food Courts scattered across the venue. The best selection is at the main food court (F8) which is near Gate 1. You will need the F&B card which is used as the method of payment. The card is pre-paid; you can buy and recharge the card at any stall. There's everything from samosas to sandwiches (and donuts too!). Taj and Radisson have two restaurants operating at the venue. As for quick bites, you can choose from vendors like Chai Point, Subway, Dunkin Donuts and many more.

Lastly, come say hello to us! CarDekho is at Hall #8 where we are showcasing the future of auto-buying. The various innovations that CarDekho has launched include:
Virtual Reality Showroom
The virtual-reality based application gives users a real experience of a car showroom. Thanks to the smart navigation tool, users can move around the showroom and check out the car from all angles, exterior and interior. The app is aided with a voice over to explain various features of the car. Users can also interact with various components of the car. For example, turn the car on or honk. In future, this feature will encompass virtual test drives of the car in a pre-fabricated 3D environment. The experience could be enhanced by integrating this with H/W simulators for a more realistic experience of the vehicle.
Interactive 3D Visualizer
The interactive and informative interface of the visualizer will give all details that one needs on a vehicle. It is the next best thing to a guided tour of physical vehicles. It includes a 3D visualizer of exteriors and interiors of the car with hotspots, configurator for customization and car comparisons tools. It also allows users to book a car/test drive and get a price quotation, enables EMI and cost calculations, besides giving access to review videos and news articles.
Augmented Reality
The augmented-reality based interaction with vehicles is a very exciting replication of real-world environment into the virtual domain. It completely obviates all constraints associated with space and imagination.
Cutting-Edge Applications
Users will be able to get in-depth information on cars and bikes and stay tuned to latest launches and updates through the CarDekho and BikeDekho apps. The applications will help users to keep up with everything that’s happening at Auto Expo 2016 from anywhere in the world. CarBuddy, an app that connects the car owner to a host of aspects of the car to make ownership easier, will also be showcased at the event.
