All new Reanult Fluence launched in India

French car manufacturer Renault launched its first car in India, Renault Fluence, at an official function held at hotel Hyatt Regency in New Delhi today. The launch is seen as the start of the entry of the whole fleet of Renault cars to India. The launch is also significant and as it is the French auto maker’s comeback in India.

Media personnel besides special invitees were also present at the gala event that unveiled the new premium sedan for India. The Renault Fluence price in India is Rs 14.40 lakh for the 2.0 L petrol version and 12.99 lakh for the 1.5 L diesel variant. The 2.0 L Petrol variant  of Renault Fluence  sedan is CVT Automatic. Among the Renault Fluence features that are going to woo many of the Indian car lovers that either have or are planning to buy similar segment cars such as Chevrolet Cruze, Honda Civic, Skoda Laura and Toyota Corolla, include awesome exterior and interiors apart from it’s one of the best in the segment mileage.

The Renault Fluence is launched in petrol and diesel variants. Renault Fluence’s diesel variant is driven by a 1.5L, 1461cc engine and the company emphasizes that it will deliver a mileage of 21.84 kmpl while the petrol version which has a 1997cc spark ignition, multipoint injection engine delivers around 13.4 kmpl mileage. At this mileage in diesel it is hoped that the Fluence would be a favorite pick of any Indian planning to buy a premium sedan.

Among the interiors the Fleunce has soft touch dashboard, driver lumbar support, front arm rest with storage box & cup holder, premium fabric/leather upholstery. Fluence stresses a lot on the interior comfort and has auto bi zone climate control, rear AC Vents, ducts, smart access, engine start/stop button, rain sensitive wiper system besides numerous features that make it a premium sedan. The car also comes with ‘Follow me home’ feature that helps tell the way back home with the help of GPS navigation system. Sources said the in the beginning, Renault Fluence will be available at 14 company dealerships in the Indian market. The company plans to expand it dealership to 100 by 2012.
