Renault Drives in updated Fluence at Rs.14.22 Lakhs

At the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, Renault India has launched the facelifted version of its flagship sedan Fluence. The 2014 Fluence sedan gets changes to both inside and out. It has been spotted several times during its test rounds on the Indian roads. The company has already begun selling the vehicle in markets abroad.

Mechanically, the facelifted Renault Fluence remains unchanged. The vehicle gets two engine options- a 2.0-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre K9K turbo diesel engine. While the petrol mill churns out a maximum power output of 135bhp and 190Nm of peak torque, the diesel motor produces 108.5bhp of power and 240Nm of top torque. The gasoline version is mated to a CVT transmission, while the oil burner is available with a six-speed manual gearbox. (It also comes powered by a new 1.6-litre turbo diesel engine that belts out 130bhp of power and 320Nm of torque)

The front facade of the 2014 Fluence sports new front bumper, restyled front grille and daytime running LED's. To offer a sporty look, the sedan also gets a new set of alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, it features new infotainment system with satellite navigation system, R-Link infotainment module, new interior trim and updated analog-digital instrumentation cluster.
