The German carmaker, based in Chakan has been gearing up to launch its first sports tourer, the B-Class in India. The award-winning plant in Chakan is further undergoing an expansion. The assembly capacity will soon be increased from 10,000 units to 20,000 units a year.
The ML-Class and the new upcoming GL-Class will also be assembled in the Chakan plant and we expect even the paint booth to become operational at the Chakan facility.
