Gearing up for the festive season ahead, it’s that time of the year when automakers play ‘Santa’ by introducing new or refreshed products from their portfolio. And what can be better than a new update in the SUV segment which has already taken the market by storm. This time, the new ‘update’ comes from the German auto-mogul Audi which has introduced a new ‘Dynamic Edition’ variant for its baby SUV -- the Q3. Only 101 units of this special edition of the Q3 will be up for grabs in India.

So, what’s new?

This Dynamic Edition boasts new elements such as:

  • Audi e – LED: All LED headlamps with dynamic turn signals integrated into the LED tail lamps
  • Audi logo projection carpet lamps on front doors
  • Updated front lower bumper and lip spoiler
  • Sporty air inlet cover
  • LED interior lighting package along with power-adjustable front seats
  • Clear lens tail lamps to improve visibility
  • Quattro label on rear doors
  • Chrome accents on front grille
  • Full paint finish on wheel arches, front and rear bumpers and side rocker moldings

Speaking about the Q3 Dynamic Edition, Joe King, head, Audi India, expressed, “The new Audi Q3 launched last year had upped the appeal with a refreshed design and a number of technical innovations. With the festive spirit in the air, we feel that it is the opportune time to launch the Audi Q3 Dynamic Edition – a successful car, now made even better with host of features, making it even more attractive for our Audi enthusiasts.”

How much is it?

However, there are no mechanical changes done to its powertrain and the Dynamic Edition will only be available with the 176PS 35 TDI 2.0-litre diesel mill mated to seven-speed S tronic automatic transmission. To get this new updated Q3 parked at your garage, you will have to shell out Rs 39.78 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and that’s not it. With just 101 units available in the entire country, this baby SUV can be a prized possession, only if you hurry and reach out to your nearest Audi dealership on time!
