Audi raised doubts about Nano Entry in European market

Luxury car manufacturer Audi has raised suspicions about the entry of Tata Nano in the European market. According to company the European safety standards are of a very high level and it may be not possible for Tata Nano to achieve these safety standards in this price range. Interestingly recently Tata Motors presented European version of Tata Nano, Nano Europa in the Geneva Motor show.
This is not the first time when any car maker raised any doubts about compatibility of safety standards in Tata Nano. Before this India's largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki also raised suspicions about the compatibility of safety features and safety standards in Tata Nano. Entering (by any model) the US and European market is very tough due to very stringent security and consumption regulations. Many Chinese car maker had earlier tried to enter Europe, but could not as they faced problems,. Said Audi AG Member of the Board (Finance and Organisation) Axel Strotbek.
