Audi to fly high, to increase dealership network

Audi India is all set to grab the greater share of Indian car market by competing with its competitors such as Mercedes and BMW. Its current market share is 20 percent in India in the luxury car segment and it targeted to achieve around 30 per cent share by the year 2011. To make this dream come true, the company has planned to raise the number of dealership across the country. Audi  India MD Benoit Tiers elaborate it by saying “We currently we have 11 dealerships in major cities. We will be soon appointing new dealers in Lucknow, Jaipur, Coimbatore and Nagpur. Jubilant Motors of Bangalore has inked a partnership with Audi for appointing dealers in South India. The motors already has a showroom in Bangalore and its Chennai showroom will be ready by early 2010.
