With the BS6 update, the base-spec Marazzo M2 variant seems to have received a price hike of Rs 1.01 lakh. Now is that price hike indicative of new features as well? Well, we are yet to receive an official confirmation of the same.
However, our dealer partner did reveal that the M4+ variant will get a Bluetooth music system and alloy wheels, something that was missing on the previous M4 variant.
An RTO document has revealed that the Marazzo’s 1.5-litre diesel engine continues to make the same 121PS as before despite the BS6 updaye. And like before, the Eco mode drops that figure to 100PS.
A petrol engine is also on the cards for the Marazzo. It will be a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. It is expected to churn out around 160PS.
The BS6 Marazzo is likely to look the same as the BS4 model as we expect this to be mechanical update only. With this update, the Marazzo will continue to sit in the space between the Maruti Suzuki XL6 and Toyota Innova Crysta.
