Car co use to send engineers to HQ for global touch

Indian auto companies used to send their engineers to their respective headquarters for a global touch. They not only enhance their skill on India-specific models but also trained to work on some of their global models. The company's who send their staff to the HQ includes Maruit Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India,  Renault India and Honda Siel Cars India. Maruit Suzuki is sending an around 80 engineers to Suzuki’s headquarter in Japan. Last year only 25 to 30 engineers were sent. According to Mr. C.V Raman, Chief General Manager, Research & Development at Maruti said that the engineers would be sent to Japan for six months to two years. Some of them would be trained on India-specific models, many also work on global models of Suzuki. Hyundai Motor India used to send technical staff to centers in Korea, Frankfurt and Detroit to work on world-wide models. Renault also sends its employees form six months to a year.
