With the reduction of excise duty along with the coming days of financial year end, many auto manufactures are now offering huge benefits under different schemes. Some companies are giving cash benefits while others are promising for free insurance, exchange bonus and exciting free accessories. Its a well calculated move by different carmakers to lure customers. From the buyer's perspective, the added bonus is always a favorable time to purchase new vehicle. Here is a look on the recent discounts given by different car manufactures.
Tata
The homegrown automaker Tata Motors is luring its customers by providing benefits in the range of Rs 40,000 to Rs 76,000 on its different vehicles. The Indigo eCS now comes with a starting price of Rs 5.09 lakh while previously it was priced around Rs 5.27 lakh and on top of that the company is providing a benefit of Rs 43,010. Similarly on the Vista, one can avail a discount of Rs 51,302. The new price of the hatch is Rs 4.61 lakh while formerly it was around Rs 4.77. Moreover, on the Safari Storme one can enjoy a benefit of Rs 76,635 with a new price of Rs 9.84 lakh.
Ford
The American manufacturer is providing a special offer on the current generation Figo termed "Goodies 4 Buddies" which is applicable from the 6th - 9th of March 2014. Having recently introduced first in the class Wi-Fi in the Figo, the offer aims to provide customers a benefit of upto Rs 62,000 which comprises of elements such as Free Insurance, Exchange Bonus, Loyalty Bonus plus the recently handed out Excise Duty Benefit by the government of India which is certainly a good news for end consumer. Under the tag line “Smart is the New Cool”, the offer is currently available across 164 cities with 304 Sales & Service Outlets. Ford's 'Happy Pocket' Service is another initiative that enables customers to enjoy the cost of ownership by just paying Rs 2199 for this particular service. On the whole, this special scheme is in line to the hatch almost completing its 4 year presence in the Indian auto Market.
Maruti Suzuki
India's largest car manufacturer that recently brought a new car, Celerio is bidding high discount on its Alto and WagonR models. The company is offering a discount in different categories that include Consumer Offer, Excise Duty Benefit and Exchange Bonus. In Alto 800 one can receive Consumer Offer of Rs 30,000, Excise benefit of Rs 12,500 and the Exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 making a total benefit of Rs 62,500. Similarly on Alto K10 and WagonR, the company is providing a total benefit of Rs 51,500 and 65,500 respectively.
Renault
The dealers across India are providing a cash benefit on sedan Fluence and hatch Pulse. The Fluence attracts a benefit of Rs 1 lakh while on Pulse is offered with a flat cash discount in the range of Rs 65,000 to Rs 75,000 depending upon the petrol and diesel models.
Toyota
On Etios sedan, Toyota is offering a benefit upto Rs 35,000 on the petrol models and Rs 32,500 on the diesel variants. Along with that, the sedan is offered with free accessories of Rs 22,500 plus an exchange bonus of Rs 7500 and corporate bonus of Rs 5,000. While on the Liva hatch, one can receive benefit upto Rs 32,500, free accessories of Rs 20,000 plus an exchange and loyalty bonus of 12,500. The MPV Innova is now offered with discount upto Rs 50,000. Above all,the carmaker is also offering 100 percent on-road funding along with discount of 50% on the processing fee.
