Features
The Vitara Brezza has an arsenal full of segment first features. To begin with, it comes with auto projector headlamps featuring LED light guides. There are LED elements in taillamps as well. Moreover, Maruti gives you an option of a dual tone paint scheme too, with a contrasting roof.
The list of 'firsts' doesn't end there! More segment first goodies, include 16-inch alloys wrapped in fat 215/60 section rubber, a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and an instrument cluster that gets selectable mood lighting. Maruti has gone the extra mile and included cruise control in the package as well!
Now, the Ford EcoSport used to be the most loaded car in this segment and it still tops in several things. Unlike the other two, it offers Ford’s SYNC system with voice commands, smartphone app integration and emergency assistance. Moreover, it even has leather upholstery, daytime running lamps and rain sensing wipers.
The Mahindra TUV300 also holds a few exclusive features like the driving modes (Power & Eco), micro hybrid tech, static bending headlamps, voice messaging system and Mahindra’s Blue Sense App integration.
Safety
The EcoSport is the only vehicle amongst the trio to offer 6 airbags, ISOFIX mounts along with EBA (Electronic Brake Assist), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), TCS (Traction Control System) and HLA (Hill Launch Assist). However, it doesn’t offer anything standard or optional from its base trim.
The Vitara Brezza, on the other hand, gets dual airbags and ABS with EBD as options starting from its base 'LDI' trim. The Mahindra TUV300 also offers optional dual-front airbags and ABS in every variant.
