Festive Premiere of Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo

Skoda is all set to rock the Auto world with its exclusive model, Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo, which will enhance the Skoda Fabia model range. The company announced the model through Prof. Dr. H.C. Winfried Vahland who is the Chairman of the board of Skoda. The introduction of the model was given at the graceful occasion of 100th running of the Rally Monte Carlo. The exciting car model mixes up the true motor sport spirit along with the usability of the car in day to day life which company is known for.

Skoda, the Czech automobile company is associated with the motor sports world since 110 years. The new offering, Škoda Fabia Monte Carlo is the symbol of company's successful 100 years association with the motor sport world. The beautifully designed model bears strong resemblance to the Škoda Fabia Super 2000.

Addressing the proud occasion, Prof. Dr. H.C. Winfried Vahland said that the exciting Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo model is built with modern design, sporty construction along with striking workmanship. Ge said that the model is superior in its designing and styling both and that what makes it a unique model in market. The “Ambiente” equipment version is employed in this special edition model for superior looks and performance. The engine used gasoline and diesel fuels and smokes out a maximum power range from 44 kW to 77 kW which is dependent on specific auto market the car will be sold in. The srong engines will be mated with manual 5-gear transmission. The stand out features of the car includes the plastic panels which are colored black in the lower area of the car body, the black grille, the roof and the rear mirror casing in black, and the dark tinted headlights. The wheels used in the model are, 16” Comet light alloy which are beautified with a black lacquer. The option of 17” light alloy wheels is also available in the Trinity design

The car color combination is unique with its black colored roof, which is patent to the Monte Carlo version. The top coat is available in seven colors to choose from including corrida red, brilliant silver, black magic, candy white, anthracite gray, sprint yellow, and cappuccino beige. The interior designing can also be customised with the combination of black with red inserts in the seats and door panels.

Skoda has always been closely associated with the Rally Monte Carlo. Internationally recognised race is a part of tradition now which has been carried out in the mountains above Monaco for 100 years. The all exciting Škoda Fabia Super 2000 made its first appearance at the Monegasque rally in the year 2009. the mere appearance of the model resulted in its immense popularity in market.

The most successful car in the class of 1300cm^3, Škoda 130 RS, was able to bag a number of honourable titles at the Rally Monte Carlo in 1977, by winning first and second place in their category. Two sports version cars of roadster Škoda in January 1936 stood at 2nd and 3rd position in 1500 cm³ class of the Rally Monte Carlo.
