Ford 25 Best Employers in 2009

Ford India is ranked as one of India’s top 25 Best Hewitt’s Employers’ in India 2009. The feat is given after a study that examines people management practices in leading organization across the country. Ford India emerged as the only automobile manufacturer in the country to have achieved this feat. More than 230 Indian organisations registered to participate in this year's survey, with 46,000 employees representing a workforce of over 800,000 people. Hewitt Associates conducts the Best Employers’ Survey every two years. This time around it partnered with Outlook Business and reviewed 230 companies, spanning several industry verticals, including banking and financial services, consumer durables, manufacturing, retail, telecom, IT, ITES and hospitality, which provide the best working environment in the country.
