Ford’s B-car platform is currently playing host to fascinating range of cars, starting from Ford Fiesta to the new Ford EcoSport Crossover. The latest one to join the bandwagon of B-car platform is the brand new Ford B-Max mini MPV that has a length of just over four meters. This mini MPV is slated to be launched at the much awaited Geneva Motor Show in March 2012. The car made its first appearance at the same show last year. This 5 seater MPV features sliding doors that will make entry and exit a very comfy business. The front passenger seat along with the rear seats could be folded with ease, thereby making Ford B-Max MPV a very resourceful car. Launching Ford B-Max MPV in India looks like a good gamble for Ford India as it could work hard on its length and make it under four meters. The compact MPV segment will also be joined by Mahindra Mini Xylo and Maruti Ertiga in later 2012.

Ford B-Max
Just like Ford EcoSport, Ford B-Max will also feature the impressive 1 litre EcoBoost turbo petrol unit sporting direct injection and VVT technology. The diesel variant still remains unclear for the time being. But, there is a chance that Ford B-Max MPV might get an oil burner under the bonnet as it will serve in the European market, which is dominated by diesel cars. In spite of the sliding doors, Ford B-Max is as rigid as Ford Fiesta as this MPV will offer high performance and remarkable safety features, which will not only take care of the car but also the passengers. Ford has attained this by correctly strengthening both the doors as well as the roof of Ford B-Max to pay off for the sliding feature. Ford B-Max will be rolled out in the European market from the month of September this year followed by the other car markets across the globe, which also includes India.
