Ford Focus likely to be showcased in India at 2012 Auto Expo

Ford India recently launched the all new Ford Fiesta sedan and now Ford India is again all geared up to launch Ford Focus sedan in the Indian auto market very soon. According to the reliable sources, Ford India will reveal its new sedan, Ford Focus at the Indian Auto Expo 2012. Furthermore, Ford India is expected to launch around 7 more products in India by the year of 2015. It is being said that the new yet to be launched sedan, Ford Focus will give a tough fight to cars like Honda Civic, Chevrolet Cruze, Volkswagen Jetta, Skoda Laura, Toyota Corolla Altis and 2011 Renault Fluence.

However, it is expected that Ford India will have a little trouble pricing the new sedan, Ford Focus as it is a diesel version. It seems that Ford India will launch this new sedan car in both petrol and diesel variants and this auto maker is thinking of amplifying the diesel variant range much more in India.As per the reports, the new sedan car, Ford Focus will come with 1.6 litre of turbocharged eco-boost petrol engine, which will keep the capacity to produce maximum power of around 160 Bhp, while the diesel engine will be of 2 litres and would be able to churn out a massive power of 140 bhp. It is expected that both the variants of Ford Focus will provide striking performance along with being extremely fuel efficient.

Apparently, both petrol and diesel variants of Ford Focus will come with automatic and manual 6 speed gearbox. The automatic gearbox has been specially developed to provide more fuel economy, which is a must in today’s time. It is rumored that Ford Focus will come loaded with some high end and exciting features, such as active park assist, rear view camera, adaptive cruise control and many more. Apart from yet to be launched Ford Focus, some other appreciated models by Ford India include Ford Fiesta, Ford Ikon, Ford Endeavour and Ford Figo.
