Ford India Launches Quick Repair and Routine Maintenance Service- 'Quick Lane'

The American auto giant Ford Motor's Indian subsidiary has today launched its first Quick Lane Service in India at Metro Ford in Yeshwantpur, Bangalore in order to provide world-class service experience to its customers. Featuring many customer-friendly benefits like extended operating hours during weekdays and Saturdays, Quick Lane is designed to enhance the service experience for Ford customers who are short on time.

Having the services like ‘No Appointment Necessary’ and ‘While you Wait’, the Metro Ford Quick Lane service centre in Bangalore is equipped to take care of customers' routine vehicle maintenance and light-repair needs quickly — including oil and filter changes, brake systems, tires, suspension systems, exhaust systems, tune-ups and alignments. Equipped with state of the art infrastructure, the 10,000 sq. ft service centre can service 35 cars per day.

"We have now introduced the option of speedy, no-appointment necessary service during hours that fit the busy schedules of our customers," said John Cooper, executive director, customer service operations, Ford Asia Pacific and Africa. Customers who visit a Quick Lane facility will be in for a different experience. They are encouraged to interact directly with service advisors on the shop floor as well. They can also relax in an air-conditioned reception area that has Wi-fi access to provide convenience and comfort during the service. “At Quick Lane centers, customers will have the confidence of knowing their vehicles are being serviced by Ford-trained technicians using quality parts,” he further added.

Speaking about the company's constant efforts to enhance the customer service, PK Umashankar, vice president, customer service operations, Ford India said: “Ford with a commitment of going further to enrich the lives of customers across India. We're taking customer service to the next level, and the new Quick Lane service center is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the customer service experience with trust, speed and transparency,"

The Quick Lane initiative serves to expand this network by offering quick, efficient and effective service solutions. While the main Ford Service centres will serve as place to go for all types of services especially major requirements, Quick Lane will cater to offering quick and efficient services, such as minor repairs. “With a promise of bringing eight new products to India by mid-decade, we are focused on augmenting the customer experience with our world-class service initiatives. Quick Lane service offers our customers another choice of convenient, high-quality service at the dealership,” he added.
