Ford India to add 100 new employees

Ford Motors Leading car manufacture of US is all set to add 1000 new employees in its Indian operation. The decision is coming at a time when all over the world companies of auto sector are cutting down jobs. According to company this decision has been taken to complete its small car project in India. According to Ford Motors the project is running on track and is expected to complete by the year 2010.

Ford Motors already have a staff of around 6000 employees all over the country. Ford India is a 100% subsidiary of Ford Motors US. The company is situated in Detroit, US. We will be continuing with our strategy to enter the small car market by early 2010, Michael Boneham, president and managing director of Ford  India, said in a statement given to a website. according to company this will help the Ford Motors to acquire 70% share in small car segment in India.
