Girnar Soft ropes in Ex-Zomato exec Umesh Hora!

Brings him onboard as CFO

Jaipur-based Girnar Soft recently brought another reputed name onboard its burgeoning industry team with the appointment of Umesh Hora as its CFO. He will be part of company’s senior management team and responsible for spearheading the company’s financial strategy and planning. He will also be responsible for development of financial and legal infrastructure to support company’s expansion trajectory. Umesh was previously associated with online restaurant search and discovery platform Zomato as its CFO.

A Commerce Graduate from Punjab University and a rank-holding Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Umesh has several years of invaluable experience in the finance domain, working with several leading Indian and global companies over the years. During early days of his work life, he was associated with PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Associate, and has also been associated with Analec Infotech, WNS Global Services and Datamonitor India.

Umesh’s last assignment was with Zomato as its CFO before joining Girnar Soft. He also delved into the entrepreneurial field by opening the Mind Cafe in Gurgaon.

He has worked with start-ups in defining new products/services and markets, and has operated in high risk circumstances with a superlative rate of achievement.

Girnar Soft’s appointment of Umesh comes close on the heels of the recent appointment of ex-PricewaterhouseCoopers Associate Director Shobhit Mathur as its Director – Strategy, signalling the company’s efforts to build a strong leadership team. By bringing industry experts onboard, Girnar Soft is looking to synergise the deep knowledge of their respective verticals into an integrated effort to drive its business goals ahead.
