The Hyundai Creta Knight Edition builds on the regular Creta with unique design elements that set it apart from the standard model
The Hyundai Creta has long been a top choice in India, dominating compact SUV sales month after month. But beyond the standard model, Hyundai offers the Creta N Line and Knight Edition for those seeking extra exclusivity. If you are torn between the regular Creta and the Knight Edition, here are some key differences to help you decide.
A Contemporary Exterior Design
While both versions share a similar design with split headlights, connected LED DRLs, and quad-beam headlights, they each have distinct touches. Both feature black elements on the parametric grille, but the standard Creta sports a brushed aluminium Hyundai logo, black chrome grille elements and a silver skid plate on the bumper. The Creta Knight Edition, on the other hand, goes fully blacked out, with a black Hyundai logo, piano black grille elements and a black front skid plate.
On the sides, both models come with 17-inch alloy wheels, though the standard Creta has diamond-cut rims, whereas the Knight Edition has blacked-out rims with striking red brake callipers for added sportiness. The Knight Edition also swaps the silver roof rails and chrome door handles of the standard Creta for blacked-out versions. Even the silver trim extending from the front window to the C-pillar gets a glossy black makeover in the Knight Edition.
At the rear, both feature connected tail lights mirroring the LED DRL design up front. However, the Knight Edition goes further with matte black finishes on the Hyundai logo and Creta emblem, a blacked-out rear skid plate, and a distinctive Knight emblem on the boot lid to signify its special status.
Each version offers a range of colour options, details of which are shown in the table below:

A Sportier Interior
The regular Creta features a dual-tone black and grey interior theme, while the Creta Knight Edition’s all-black interior delivers a sportier vibe. Unique brass accents add sophistication to the Knight Edition, appearing below the dual screens on the dashboard, around the AC vents, on the gear lever, and across the centre console.
The seats elevate the look with black leatherette upholstery detailed with brass piping on the backrest, and the front centre armrest has matching brass stitching. Additionally, metallic pedals complete the sportier feel inside the Creta Knight Edition.
Versatile Powertrain Options
The Hyundai Creta Knight Edition is powered by either a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor or a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both engines are available with both manual and automatic gearboxes. The in-depth specifications are given below:

The regular Creta also gets a 1.5-litre turbo petrol motor which churns out 160 PS and 253 Nm. This engine is paired with a dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
A Similar Feature Suite
Even though the exterior and interior design differ, the Knight Edition still boasts the same set of features that comes with the regular model. These include the dual 10.25-inch displays (with one being a touchscreen and the other being a digital instrument cluster), an 8-speaker Bose sound system and connected car tech. Moreover, it also gets a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, dual-zone auto AC with rear vents, and power-adjustable front seats with ventilation function.
The Creta Knight Edition is also armoured like the regular Creta in terms of safety features. It has six airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). A hill start assist, an electronic handbrake and all four disc brakes at the rear. A Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite encompassing lane keep assist, forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control, among other features, is also on offer.
Everything At A Slight Increment
Think all these custom touches would break the bank? Not at all! Hyundai offers the Creta Knight Edition at only a modest premium over the standard model. Here’s the breakdown:
