The Honda Elevate CVT automatic offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.92 kmpl
The Honda Elevate entered the compact SUV space in India in September 2023 and is offered with a single petrol engine option mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. Recently, we had the Elevate CVT with us, and we tested its fuel efficiency in both city and highway conditions to find out if it matches the claimed mileage figure.
Before we get into further details, let’s have a look at technical details of the Honda Elevate CVT:
Engine |
1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) Petrol |
Power |
121 PS |
Torque |
145 Nm |
Transmission |
CVT |
Claimed Fuel Efficiency (CVT) |
16.92 kmpl |
Tested Fuel Efficiency (City) |
12.60 kmpl |
Tested Fuel Efficiency (Highway) |
16.40 kmpl |
During our tests, the fuel efficiency of the Elevate CVT falls short by nearly 4.5 kmpl for city driving. However, it came close to the claimed mileage figure when driven on the highway.

Now let’s see how the tested figures vary in different conditions:
Mileage |
City:Highway (50:50) |
City:Highway (25:75) |
City:Highway (75:25) |
14.25 kmpl |
15.25 kmpl |
13.37 kmpl |
If you primarily do city runs with the Honda Elevate CVT, you can expect a fuel efficiency of over 13 kmpl. On the other hand, if you drive the Elevate mostly on the highways, you can expect it to return around 15 kmpl.
In mixed driving conditions, the Elevate can offer a fuel efficiency of around 14 kmpl.
Having said that, keep in mind that the fuel efficiency of a car may vary depending on your driving style, the prevailing road condition, and the car’s overall state as well. If you own a Honda Elevate CVT, feel free to share your findings with us in the comments.
