Honda to continue with production cut down

Honda India one of the major players in Indian auto sector has decided to continue with its production cut down process in India. A few months before  Honda had cut down its production  to 45% of its full production capacity. To continue this process Honda India has decided to continue with production cut down for next six years.

Currently Honda in India has cut down its production cut down from 380 cars per day to 200 cars per day in a single shift. Honda has collaboration with Siel Cars India Limited in India. Honda is launching its new car Honda Jazz in India soon.

According to President and CEO Masahiro Takedagawa o f Honda Siel Cars India  After the market recovers and once we decide to increase production, it takes about two months to go back to full production again. Probably for the next six months, single shift operations will continue.
