The Hyundai Creta recently got a new mid-spec SX Executive trim in both the petrol and diesel lineups. Now, as per our dealers, the carmaker has discontinued the second-to-top SX trim, albeit only the MT-equipped petrol and diesel variants due to the introduction of the SX Executive. That said, Hyundai is yet to take down the prices of the said variants from its website.

One of the main reasons for the discontinuation of only the MT-equipped SX variants could be due to the unavailability of automatic transmissions with the SX Executive trim. While the latter misses out on a touchscreen system altogether, it does share a few features with the SX trim including a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, and auto climate control. Hyundai has priced the SX Executive variants at Rs 78,000 less than the SX petrol and diesel MT, priced at Rs 13.96 lakh and Rs 14.96 lakh respectively.
