Speculations are rife that Hyundai Eon will be delivered to customers by 20th October, 2011 just a week after its launch on 13th of this month. Such an agile step by the No. 2 car company in India, Hyundai, is exemplary for competitors and other cars. While deliveries of most of the popular cars like Maruti Swift, Mahindra XUV 500, Toyota Etios diesel and Honda Brio are stuck for 5-7 months, Hyundai is offering its hot hatch, Eon, well in time. Hyundai Eon price for booking the car is Rs 25,000 and can be done at the nearest Hyundai dealer.

The bookings of Hyundai Eon commenced on October 1, 2011 and Hyundai has already dispatched 7188 units of the hatchback to Hyundai dealerships across India just to enhance curiosity of Eon. This is a marketing strategy that Toyota adopted for Liva hatchback. The small car Eon will be powered by a three-pot 814cc petrol engine and is expected to be available in three trim levels: Hyundai Eon Base, Hyundai Eon GL and Hyundai Eon GLS. Our sources confirm that diesel version of the Eon could be a future option, but at present there are no such plans. Hyundai Eon hatchback will compete with the likes of Maruti Alto and Chevrolet Spark.
