Primary reason behind this increase has been the launch of LPG variant, also the company started exporting Eon to neighboring countries. As per a media report, Hyundai Eon will be released in Nepal soon which is a silver lightening for Hyundai. Hyundai’s ambitious 900-crore project which was expected to raise waves in entry-level hatchback market and uproot its competitors like Maruti Alto actually went dud when it could not rise above the 7.5k unit sales per month mark even after 3 months of its release.
