The Corporate Edition is priced at a premium of Rs 19,000 over the Magna variants.
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gets a new special variant, the Corporate Edition, ahead of the upcoming festive season. It is based on the one-above-base Magna variant but gets a few extra features for a small premium. This special variant is priced as follows:
Magna |
Magna Corporate |
Sportz |
|
Petrol MT |
Rs 5.92 lakh |
Rs 6.11 lakh |
Rs 6.45 lakh |
Petrol AMT |
Rs 6.45 lakh |
Rs 6.64 lakh |
Rs 7.05 lakh |
Diesel MT |
Rs 7 lakh |
Rs 7.19 lakh |
Rs 7.54 lakh |
all prices, ex-showroom Mumbai
The Corporate trim gets 15-inch wheels with a new cap, power-folding outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) with turn indicators, and a 6.75-inch touchscreen infotainment system over the regular Magna variant. However, the touchscreen unit doesn’t fit as well as the OEM-design infotainment system with an 8.0-inch touchscreen display offered on the next trim, aka the Sportz variant. The new variant also gets a plug-in air purifier with a HEPA filter which looks similar to the one offered on the Venue sub-4m SUV. It even gets its own ‘Corporate’ badging.
These added comforts in the Corporate Edition definitely feel worth the Rs 19,000 premium over the regular Magna variants. The next variant costs up to Rs 41,000 more than the Magna Corporate Edition but it gets additional features such as auto AC and projector headlamps. It’s offered with three powertrain options: 1.2-litre petrol with manual and AMT as well as 1.2-litre diesel engine with manual transmission.
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will continue to rival the likes of the Maruti Swift and Ford Figo as well as the similarly priced Renault Triber.
