In the festive season of Holi, XUV500 gets new shades

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M), the homegrown manufacturer introduced two new color options to its XUV500 model line-up. The manufacturer has recently witnessed a dip in the sales figures and to lure its customers back, the company also introduced its entry level W4 variant a few month back. The XUV500 W4 is priced at Rs 10.69 lakh (Ex Showroom, Delhi).

The company has introduced Satin White and Dolphin Grey color scheme in its different variants. The Satin White is offered in XUV W8 and W6 while the W4 is left out. Being the top end variant, the XUV500 W8 is also offered in Arctic Blue and Opulent Purple. While the entry level W4 now gets a new shade in the name of Dolphin Grey, previously the SUV was only offered in the black and white shades. The automakers has recently reduced the price of its entire lineup and now bringing the new color seems to be the desperate efforts to churn some good sale figures.

Mechanically, the XUV remains unchanged and will keep on carrying its tried and tested 2.2-litre 16V mHawk Diesel Engine that belts out a maximum power of 140bhp and 330Nm of peak torque.
