The 2019 Geneva Motor Show is right around the corner and carmakers from around the world are getting ready to showcase their latest products - some of which are production cars while others are very much in the concept stage. We have a look at some of the interesting ones headed to Geneva.
Production
Tata Altroz
Tata’s premium hatchback is all set to break cover at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. It will be one of the biggest reveals at Geneva in context of India, with the Baleno rival set to go on sale on our shores by mid-2019.

Tata H7X
The seven-seater variant of the Harrier will be another big reveal from Tata at Geneva. The competitive pricing of the five-seater Harrier has given a lot of potential buyers expectations from the H7X. It is expected to go on sale in India by the end of 2019.
SsangYong Korando
Based on the SIV-2 concept, SsangYong will show the Korando in its production guise at Geneva. The Korean carmaker has already revealed images of the mid-size SUV. Why is it important to us? The Korando is expected to come to India badged as the second-generation Mahindra XUV500, possibly next year.
Mercedes-Benz GLC Facelift
Mercedes has given the GLC a facelift to keep it looking fresh for its remaining life cycle. However, the facelift not only features cosmetic tweaks but also new features and engines.
Polestar 2
We know the future of Volvo is electric and Polestar is leading the charge, quite literally. It will be showcasing the Polestar 2, which is aimed squarely at the India-bound Tesla Model 3, at Geneva. Volvo themselves has claimed that they intend to take the flight to Tesla with the Polestar 2.
Jeep Compass S/Night Eagle Edition
Jeep will be showcasing a new variant of the Compass at Geneva, dubbed Compass S. It sports a two-tone paint job, a pearl white body and black roof. Other changes include 19-inch low gloss granite crystal wheels. It will go on sale in Europe later in the year. However, there is no word if Jeep will bring it to India. The Night Eagle Edition features black accents and a generous list of features as standard.

Mitsubishi Engelberg Tourer Concept
The Engelberg Tourer is an electric SUV concept whose name is inspired by an alpine town in central Switzerland. Not much details are known about the concept but we believe it to be the fourth-generation Outlander. The third-gen model is currently on sale in India.
