With these new variants, you can save up to Rs 40,000 compared to the top-spec trims. However, there are a few compromises in terms of features to consider as well.
-
The higher variants of the 2023 Seltos (HTX onwards) contribute 77 percent of the total bookings.
-
47 percent reservations are made for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) equipped variants.
-
Kia has also introduced more affordable ADAS GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S) variants of the Seltos this festive season.
-
These new variants are only available with 7-speed DCT in petrol and 6-speed automatic transmission in diesel.
The Kia Seltos facelift, launched in July this year, has recaptured the market's attention, receiving over 50,000 bookings in just two months. According to the carmaker, there are 806 reservations made every day for the 2023 Seltos.
Since 77 percent of bookings are for higher variants of the Seltos, (the HTX variant onwards) and within that, 47 percent of reservations are made for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)-equipped variants, Kia has introduced two new ADAS-equipped variants: GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S). Their prices have been detailed in the table below.

GTX+ (S) 1.5 turbo-petrol 7-speed DCT - Rs 19.40 lakh |
GTX+ 1.5 turbo-petrol 7-speed DCT - Rs 19.80 lakh |
- Rs 40,000 |
X-Line (S) 1.5 turbo-petrol 7-speed DCT - Rs 19.60 lakh |
X-Line 1.5 turbo-petrol 7-speed DCT - Rs 20 lakh |

X-Line (S) 1.5 diesel 6-speed AT - Rs 19.60 lakh |
X-Line 1.5 diesel 6-speed AT- Rs 20 lakh |

The GTX+ (S) slots below the GTX+, whereas the X-Line (S) sits under the top-spec X-Line. If you are willing to trade the 360 degree camera for just a reversing camera, and the 8-speaker Bose audio system for an unbranded 6-speaker setup, opting for these variants will save you a cool Rs 40,000.
Other feature highlights from the GTX+ and the X-Line include the 10.25-inch integrated screen setup, dual-zone automatic AC, air purifier, 8-way adjustable powered driver’s seat, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof are on offer with the new (S) variants. The new variants are also identical to the top-spec variants in terms of safety tech. Along with ADAS features such as lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control, it gets six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-assist control (HAC), and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as standard.
