Customer interest in the Seltos is high, with Kia receiving more than 6,000 pre-bookings for the Creta rival on day one. Kia will be looking to build up its inventory of the Seltos as the compact SUV is set to go on sale on August 22 and many owners are expecting to get their hands on it as soon as possible.
With production set to begin tomorrow, Kia will have time to build up its inventory so as to cater to the demand. Kia will be looking to avoid a situation like the MG Hector where the British carmaker had to stop taking bookings for the SUV as it could not meet the demand from car buyers.
The Seltos will be available with a choice of BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engines along with manual and automatic transmissions. It will also be loaded to the brim with features. You can read more about the Seltos’ powertrain combinations and the features it will have on offer here.
Customers who are getting around to making a booking for the Seltos just now will have to wait for over a month for delivery. If you had put down your money on the Seltos back when Kia opened pre-bookings for the SUV, you can expect to take delivery in around a week or two after its launch on August 22.
