Only the top-spec variants of the two lines get the additional choice of three dual-tone options, offering a full range of 10 colours.

Loaded with a massive list of features, the Sonet comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology, Bose sound system, wireless charging, ambient lighting, sunroof, and ventilated seats to name a few. Powertrain options consist of a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. These can be mated to a choice of 5-speed manual (MT), 6-speed intelligent manual transmission (iMT), 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT), or 6-speed torque convertor (AT).

The Kia Sonet is expected to be priced from Rs 6.6 lakh to Rs 12.9 lakh (ex-showroom). It is expected to provide some serious competition to other sub-4m SUVs such as the Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, and its sibling Hyundai Venue.
