The facelifted Kia Seltos gets design tweaks to the exterior and an updated cabin

Update (04/07/23): The 2023 Kia Seltos has been unveiled in India.

The 2023 Kia Seltos will make its India debut tomorrow.
Teasers have revealed key design updates for exterior and interior.
It is expected to be equipped with 1.5-litre T-TGDi (turbo) petrol engine sourced from Hyundai.
The safety will be enhanced by advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
It is expected to be priced from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

The 2023 Kia Seltos will make its premiere in India tomorrow, and the carmaker has released another teaser, giving us a glimpse of its new "Pluton Blue" colour. This colour has already been introduced with the international-spec models of the facelifted compact SUV.

What Else Is Visible?

Apart from the new color, the teaser showcases the redesigned LED DRLs and LED taillamps. As for other changes, the updated Seltos will include an updated grille and bumper design,and a new set of alloy wheels inspired by the global model.

Inside, the 2023 Seltos will boast a new dashboard layout which will look more premium than the outgoing model. In terms of features, the Seltos will offer integrated 10.25-inch screens for both infotainment and instrumentation, a panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control. Additionally, the new Seltos will come equipped with wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, connected car technology, and cruise control.

The safety will be enhanced by advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features, along with six airbags, 360-degree camera and electronic stability control (ESC).

Gets A New Powertrain

You Can Now Pre-Book The Kia Seltos Facelift At Dealerships

The existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (115PS/144Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (116PS/250Nm) engine options will be retained. The updated Seltos will likely also get the new 1.5-litre T-GDi (turbo) petrol engine (160PS/253Nm) from the Kia Carens.

Launch & Rivals

The carmaker will announce the prices of the 2023 Seltos soon and bookings are likely to open after the unveil. It is expected to be priced from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. The updated Seltos will continue its rivalry with the Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross and Honda Elevate.
