Lewis Hamilton storms to podium finish at Chinese Grand Prix

Its like no stopping for team Mercedes! Lewis Hamilton of team Mercedes finished first while his team-mate Nico Rosberg finished second at the main race of Chinese Grand Prix. It was four out of four win for team Mercedes and third consecutive win for Hamilton as the season's first race was won by Nico Rosberg.

Hamilton took 1hr 33 min 28.338 sec to complete his 54 laps while his team-mate Rosberg was nearly 18 seconds behind. Moreover, third spot was acquired by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso while his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen finished at eighth position.

For Force India-Mercedes, Nico Hulkenberg managed no. sixth position, a drop down from his previous position of fifth in Bahrain and Malaysian Grand Prix. Moreover, his partner Sergio Perez, who finished third in Bahrain only managed to recover from his 16th position in grid to 9th position. In terms of close encounter, it was for the third position between Ferrari's driver Fernando Alonso and Red Bull Racing-Renault's Daniel Ricciardo who later finished fourth.

"I just can't believe how amazing the car is and how hard everyone's worked," Hamilton said on the podium. "After the start it was just really racing myself. I'm really happy Nico is up here with us. Great points for the team."

In teams tally, its Mercedes leading the way by 154 points while Red Bull Racing-Renaul with 57 points giving a tough competition to Force India-Mercedes with 54 points on third. While in driver's tally Nico Rosberg is still on top with 79 points with his team-mate Hamilton on second at 75 points followed by Fernando Alonso on third with 41 points.
