List of upcoming cars in India in 2009-10

The year 2009-10 is full of excitement for car enthusiasts as a number of new car models are ready to launch in India. Thanks to the growing demand of cars in India. Ford is all set to roll out its New Ford Endeavour in the very next week. The New Ford Endeavour will be a facelifted version and will have some cosmetic changes as well. The SUV, New Ford Endeavour, will be pitted against newly launched Toyota Fortuner. Ford Fiesta is already a popular model in India. Other car model in the series is Mitsubishi Lancer Sportsback. This new model of Lancer will be introduced in two engine variants-168-horsepower, 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a 237-horsepower, 2-liter, turbocharged four cylinder. Apart from Mitsubishi, Honda will launch upgraded versions of Honda City and Honda Civic. Nissan will not be like to behind and geared up to launch New Nissan Teana, New X-Trail. The new X-Trail will be available in two engine variants that are 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine and its 2.6-litre variant. Tata Motors is ready with New Indigo CS that is a budget specific sedan. Leading car maker Maruti is to launch New Maruti Swift with the new K-series engine. Luxury car maker Mercedes is to launch E-class with a 3.5L Direct Injection Gas engine generating 292bhp in September. The company is planning to introduce a 320 CDi engine later in this year. Another luxury car maker, BMW, will launch BMW 7 series with Dynamic Damper Control and Integral Active Steering.
