Mahindra continues to grow stronger

Despite introducing several new products in the utility vehicle segment, Mahindra has been growing strong without any kind of cannibalisation between its products. The Bolero and the Scorpio are one of the strongest growing brands under the Mahindra umbrella, despite being over a decade old.
The XUV500 is another product that Mahindra is at the moment banking on, placed above the Bolero and the Scorpio. Not even a year after the XUV500, the company introduced the Rexton, which is the new flagship model for the utility vehicle manufacturer, and the company sells about 500 units a month of this flagship model since the hike in production capacity for this Korean-based SUV from the start of this year. Mahindra has so far rolled out the Rexton in 35 Indian cities and at the moment is the second best-selling SUV in its segment, after the Toyota Fortuner. The only vehicle that has seen a drop in wholesale is the Quanto.
