Mahindra & Mahindra has embarked on a new integrated technology, DiGiSENSE for a wide range of vehicles including cars, buses, tractors and construction equipment. This technology helps connect all Mahindra vehicles to the cloud which will give real-time information of a vehicle to the user, thus, taking the ownership experience to a next level.

Through DiGiSENSE, a customer can always view the performance and location of his vehicle. Besides that, drivers can get in touch with breakdown services at any point of time or pull up a route planner on their fingertips. It assists fleet owners and dealers in knowing the exact location of the vehicles in real time, while through remote diagnostics and reports, the service team can keep a check on the health of the vehicle.

Speaking at the launch, Pawan Goenka, executive director, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “Digitization is emerging as a key differentiator for business transformation and connected vehicle technology is one such manifestation. At Mahindra, we regularly challenge conventional thinking and create disruptions and the launch of DiGiSENSE 1.0 is one such effort to adopt technology to develop new ecosystems. It is the first of its kind technology platform which is multi-application and multi product enabled. From providing real time data, to tracking performance and productivity of the vehicles, DiGiSENSE will enable customers to control their businesses”.

Features of the DiGiSENSE technology at a glance:

One Solution with Multitude of Applications: Since the DiGiSENSE is designed for Mahindra’s entire mobility sector, the same platform can be personalised to meet the requirement of each customer. Meanwhile, a user having multiple Mahindra vehicles can enjoy the same user experience with individual and unique customisations.

Ecosystem Orchestration: With the integration of such cloud-based technology across its range, the home-grown automaker has become the first to do so in the Indian automobile industry.

Keeping Pace with the Times: It’s an open-architecture platform, which will be timely updated on a periodic basis.

Seamless Feature Upgrades: Just like mobile software updates, the DiGiSENSE too, would be automatically updated without the need to physically visit showrooms or dealerships.

Redefining Service Paradigms: The whole idea of offering the DiGiSENSE is to connect and redefine the service given to Mahindra customers. To help user get prompt service, the automaker is betting high on the digital technology.

In a nutshell, the DiGiSENSE would be helping customers in route planning, delivery tracking, vehicle utilization reports, trip optimization, alerts, machine hour operations and geo fencing.
