Mahindra W201 to be launched in October 2011?

Latest developments in Indian automobile world suggest that Indian car giant Mahindra and Mahindra is working rigorously towards the launch of its new world SUV which is codenamed Mahindra W201. Reports further suggest that the SUV was recently seen doing test run on Mumbai-Pune highway. Earlier it was reported that Mahindra Auto was working on its all New World SUV which has been codenamed Mahindra W201. Designed and development by Mahindra from scratch, the SUV is expected to hold only one thing in common with Mahindra Scorpio i.e. mHawk diesel engine.

As per sources, the spied images of Mahindra W201 indicate that the upcoming 2012 Mahindra W201 incorporates considerably strong headlight beam. Boasting somewhat bulky looks like that of Jaguar Land Rover, Mahindra SUV appearance seems to be quite heavy and is expected to come affixed with the 2.2 liter mHawk motor under the hood. Glancing through the images further confirms the presence of Mahindra logo on the grille. Copying the Audi style of placing small LED lights below headlamps, Mahindra has delivered quite sumptuous looks to its latest invent. Going deeper in details, Mahindra W201 is going to incorporate single blade type wipers and with hood scoops, the world SUV is expected to offer better engine cooling option.

Speculations floating over internet suggest that Mahindra W201 is expected to be launched by October, 2011, with a price tag of Rs. 14 lakh for the basic variant. As for now, Mahindra is busy in testing its one more marvel, the 4-meter and 5-seater Mahindra Xylo mini. This sibling of Mahindra Xylo is expected to hit Indian roads by mid-July 2011. With Mahindra Xylo mini price expected to touch Rs. 5 lakh mark, the car will definitely spread the charisma which was earlier offered by Mahindra Xylo original.
