  • Mahindra XUV300 has managed to receive that many bookings since bookings opened in January.

  • It is expected to be priced between Rs 7 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.

  • It will be offered with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine and 1.5-litre diesel engine, without any automatic variant at launch.

The Mahindra XUV300 is all set to be launched on 14 February. We’ve driven it and you can read our first impressions here. Mahindra dealerships started accepting bookings for the XUV300 in December 2018 and now the carmaker has already hit the 4000 mark in the pre-launch booking register. With all these advance bookings, we anticipate anyone booking the car now will have to wait for over a month before the car is delivered.

Live Updates: Mahindra XUV300 Launching Today

The XUV300 is expected to be priced between Rs 7 lakh to Rs 12 lakh. It is based on the Ssangyong Tivoli and will offer some notable segment-first features such seven airbags, front parking sensors, dual-zone auto AC, heated ORVMs and multi-mode steering. Over and above, there will be features like sunroof, a 7-inch infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, disc brakes on all four wheels and rain-sensing wipers.

It will also feature Mahindra’s latest engine - a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol -, and a detuned 1.5-litre diesel from the Marazzo MPV. These engines are the torquiest in the segment and will come paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Mahindra XUV300 Variant Wise Features List Leaked Ahead Of Launch

We already know that the Mahindra XUV300 will be offered in four variants - W4, W6, W8 and W8(O). It will be available in six exterior colour options - red, blue, white, black, orange and silver.

Mahindra will not be offering an automatic option at the time of launch, but is expected to introduce it later. Once launched, the XUV300 will take on the likes of the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and the Honda WR-V. The added features and higher expected prices position it as a slightly premium offering in comparison to the Brezza, which is the most popular car in terms of sales. We’ll be bringing you all the updates from the Mahindra XUV300 launch tomorrow, so stay tuned to CarDekho.
