Red Bull won the 2012 Formula1 race in Monaco GP. The team had already won two more races in the same season. The team Red Bull has won the Grand Prix for the third time since 2010. Though Mark Webber is the sixth driver who has won a GP race in this season, Alonso was the consistent performer. With the advantage of pole position and slow and narrow street-circuit in Monte Carlo Red bull driver was fast enough to be the first to reach at the finish line of the race. The strategy adopted by most of the drivers was of one-stop. Fernando Alonso was in the final position with Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton. Felipe Massa was competitive too but finished the race at sixth position.
Force India cars of Paul di Resta and Hulkenberg, who also picked up 10 valuable points were ahead of Felipe Massa. Sahara Force India finished the race at 7th position and 8th (Nico) in the Monaco GP and now the total championship points are 28 from 6 races in 2012 which is the best start ever for the team. Though the two cars had a clean start but there was a collision at the first corner by Romain Grosjean who had to retire thereafter. The previous Grand Prix winner Maldonado also had a racing incident and had to retire. The Lotus driver, Raikkonen had a bad tyre and had to retire from the race. The short safety car period was resumed in some time but only 15 drivers out of the 24 were able to stay on track which was full of incidents.
A history has been created in this Formula1 race as six different drivers won the first six races of the season and this is the reason why this seasons’ Formula1race is so exciting. The race will be soon shifted to Montreal this weekend and there are chances that a new driver will win in the race. The race is completely unpredictable race for the year.
