Maruti Kizashi is expected to be launched in the Indian market by the end of January 2011. The sedan was supposed to enter the Indian auto market a year back but will see the dawn in January 2011. Rumours are that it might be launched on the 28th of January. The new sedan is referred as the elder sibling of Maruti SX4 due to the new sedan's looks. The new baby from Maruti's stable will compete with the already ruling sedans in the Indian auto market such as Toyota Corolla Altis, Chevrolet Cruze, Honda Civic and Skoda Laura. The Maruti Kizashi is expected to be priced at Rs 10 lakh or plus.
Maruti Kizashi is the first car which is priced high from Maruti's stable. Maruti has been criticised a lot of time on the basis of its cars comfort features but with this new launch of premium sedan it will definitely prove the critics wrong.

Mruti Kizashi will be equipped with varied features and the best of technology and is ready to capture the Indian auto markets. The sedan will be affixed with 2.4 litre petro engine which will generate 185 bhp at the maximum torque of 230 Nm. The car is loaded with powerful engine which will be fuel efficient and greater mileage. Maruti Kizashi, will be coming with array of features such as, the electrically powered with three spokes steering wheel includes audio control, spacious interiors, the latest audio controls, AC vents and much more. The Indian auto giant has to place as well as price Maruti Kizashi well to get the maximum benefit out of the new sedan.

As per the industry sources, Maruti Kizashi will be priced below Honda Civic. It is also being learned that Maruti Kizashi, is expected to be assembled in the company's manufacturing unit in Manesar production facility in Haryana. With Maruti besides the mass segment is entering the luxury segment, the rivals have already geared up and the Indian auto sector looks like waiting for a new revolution from the Indian auto giants stable.
Currently, Maruti is definitely ruling the domestic auto sector as from two consecutive months it has been recording a sales of more than 1 lakh units which has happened for the first time in India. It looks like that Maruti wishes to maintain its dominance in the Indian auto sector.
