Maruti Suzuki goes aggressive with schemes; offers Gold Coins, Cash Discounts

India's largest car manufacturing company, Maruti Suzuki is offering a Scratch Card scheme in which after buying a Maruti Suzuki car, one can scratch and win gold coins, attractive mega gifts along with cash discounts on selected models.
The company in order to lure more buyers is also providing bumper saving on its selected models. Maruti Suzuki Ritz gets a discount of Rs 45,000 while the good old hatch WagonR now attracts savings of Rs 48,000 along with a free fourth year warranty. The Japanese manufacturer is also giving discount in small car segment as Alto 800 gets a cash benefit of Rs 45,000 with an additional third year free warranty.
Recently, the carmaker has suffered a great deal of downfall in the sales for the month of April 2014. The company witnessed a fall of 11.4 percent as the company sold 86,196 units in April 2014 as compared to 97,302 vehicles in April 2013. In order to cover the lost ground, the automaker is offering Maruti Suzuki Ertiga with a discount of Rs 50,000. The car features sporty dual tone dashboard, ample space for seven people, second row AC with controls, build in fog lamps, side blinkers on ORVMs. The diesel model of this MUV in-houses a powerful D13 A DDiS Super Turbo engine that musters a maximum power of 88.8bhp and peak torque of 200Nm, while the gasoline model carries 1.4-litre K Series petrol engine that generates a power of 93.7bhp and torque of 130Nm. Company states that petrol model delivers a fuel economy of 16.0kmpl while the diesel model gives mileage of 20.7kmpl.
Adding more to its offers, the manufacturer is offering discount on SX4 worth Rs 80,000. Alto K10 also features a saving of Rs 55,000 along with Wagon R Stingray which offers an off of Rs 55,000 + 4th Year EW Warranty. Moreover, the compact sedan Swift Dzire gets a discount of Rs 20,000 while the Omni Van is available with a discount of Rs 32,000.
Things are now turning good for the Japanese manufacturer as the recently launched Celerio is getting great response from customers. With the Automated Manual Transmission, driving in the traffic becomes real easy. The AMT variant of the Celerio now comes with a waiting period of five to six months while the manual comes within a waiting period of week or a forthright . In the upcoming months, the company will also launch the replacement of SX4 as Ciaz which was already unveiled and showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo.
